**Dance Instructors - Adult Classes**:
**Arts and Recreation Instructors - Level 1**

The City of Pitt Meadows Recreation Department is looking for passionate and enthusiastic individuals to lead adult dance classes who are willing to share their expertise by providing instruction for those who wish to learn.

Reporting to the Fitness Coordinator, these positions are responsible for leading adult introductory dance classes, including Latin Dance and Salsa. Instructors will provide direct instruction, leadership and program management for specific dance classes.

**Required certifications include**:

- Certification and training in area of instruction in accordance with Industry Standards
- Emergency First Aid certification with CPR C or equivalent 8-hour course is required

**Other preferred certifications include**:

- High Five Certification
- Fundamental Movement Skills
- NCCP certification
- _Copies of relevant professional certificates will be required at the time of the interview._

Salary Rate: Level 1 $25.00 per hour, plus 4% in lieu of vacation time.
