Technical Writer

You will have dual responsibilities; 25% of your time servicing and interacting directly with the Sales team and clients, 75% of your time spent performing RFP Writer duties, including oversight of supplier databases. Your Responsibilities RFP Writing:

- Searching for and reviewing RFPs, RFTs, RFIs and other opportunities relevant to environmental and waste management services;
- Responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs) and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) from prospective clients and consultants across the Institutional and Strategic Accounts business channels;
- Working with different internal groups supplying information for supplier databases;
- Submission of insurance and bond requests;
- Tracking wins & losses and scheduling debriefs with clients;
- Maintaining an organized repository of approved narratives for each of the marketed strategies.

Client Service:

- Generating client reporting on a monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc basis;
- Managing the coordination of internal/external meetings, including the preparation and presentation of materials;
- Completing ad hoc data and regular reporting requests.

General:

- Acting as a team liaison with other departments within E360 such as Legal, Compliance, Operations and Sales;
- Contributing ideas on process improvement and brainstorming solutions in a team environment.

**Qualifications**

**What You’ll Need**
- 1-5 years of experience in technical writing;
- Experience in the waste management industry
- Shows initiative - engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities;
- Understanding of the construction business in order to respond to complex RFPs;
- Experience with institutional client deliverables;
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Detail oriented;
- Proactive and takes initiative;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment;
- Ability to work independently and within established guidelines;
- Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills;
- Ability to work flexibly, under pressure, and meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
- Excellent Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions.
- Must be legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada (for example, by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency or work permit).
