Dietary Aide

PEI Seniors Homes is looking for full-time and part-time dietary aides at our Garden Home location. Dietary aides are responsible for the preparation and serving of food in our dining room and ensuring that the residents have an enjoyable dining experience by providing a high level of customer service in a friendly and professional manner. Other responsibilities include the proper setting of tables, removing used dishes and place settings, and maintaining the dining room and kitchen in a clean and sanitary manner.

If you have good communication skills, an eye for detail and quality, strong customer focus, and work well on a team then you would be a good fit in our dietary team.

Garden Home is located at 310 North River Road, Charlottetown..

Job duties
- ensure menu items are prepared and served according to departmental policies and procedure
- ensure that the presentation of all menu items adheres to established standards
- operate the dishwasher, wash all dishes including pots and pans clean and sanitize trolleys and other equipment
- clean fridges, stoves, freezers, counters, cupboards, walls, etc.
- maintain an adequate supply of cleaning agents and detergents on hand to clean up spills as they occur
- maintain a safe environment and perform other related duties as required.

Salary Range: $16.47 to $17.93
