**THIS IS A THREE-MONTH CONTRACT - TEMPORARY FT POSITION**

**Position Summary**:In this role, you are responsible for the full cycle of accounting and accounts payable, administrative and clerical support to the finance team, processing invoices, accounts receivable, vendor reconciliations, and obtaining approval & coding invoices.

**The following job responsibilities are essential for the success of this position**:

- Project Accounting - monitor the progress of the projects, investigate variances, process project billing and collections.
- Code documents using the proper classification of G/L codes.
- Manage accounts payable, including posting invoices, maintaining the approval process, coordinating payment runs, and ensuring invoicing and timely vendor reconciliation based on established processes.
- Handle general accounting tasks: Assist with G/L account reconciliation, month-end close, and other ad hoc projects.
- Assist in posting prepaids, deposits & fixed assets.
- Post general journals.
- Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications/Educational Requirements/Certification Requirements**:

- Experience with accounts payable/receivable and project accounting
- Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Business Administration or Accounting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities/Experience Requirements**:

- 3+ years of administrative/accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Business Central 365 is preferred.
