Prepress Technician

We are looking for Mac Operator to join our production team. The applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day operations performed as a **prepress operator** & graphic designer in a commercial printing environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to design printing materials as per client’s requirements.
- Colour correction and reformatting of graphic files to print specifications/press requirements.
- Perform changes to customer files.
- Pre-flighting customer files to diagnose any problems.
- Impose client artwork for digital and offset press.
- Output digital proofs.
- Work as part of a team, able to operate digital printer.

**Key qualifications**:

- Applicant should have experience in using: Adobe CC Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat), Rip Software, Kodak Preps.
- You must be comfortable with Mac desktop environments.
- Any experience in design, layout, and desktop publishing will be an asset.
- Hardworking, fast leaner, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.

- prepress: 3 years (preferred)

Pay: $18.50-$26.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
