Steward/stewardess

**Yacht Steward**

Contract: May - October with possibility to go full time permanent

Hiring a professional and passionate Steward for a contract position to start, on a private 132 ft motor yacht based in downtown Vancouver, BC. The boat typically cruises along the Vancouver and BC Coast and does not leave BC waters.

**The Role**:

- Ensures a personal experience for all guests on board
- Food and beverage service, including dining set up and take down
- Housekeeping for guest cabins and cleaning of common areas
- Provides support to the Head Stewardess in daily tasks and responsibilities
- Day-to-day laundry
- Protecting, maintaining, and caring for valuable interior items and surfaces
- Maintains inventory of guest supplies
- Responsible for organizing and stocking interior storage
- Supports the deckhand team when needed

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years working in a Hospitality position
- Demonstrated passion for the Hospitality and Tourism Industry
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Highly enthusiastic, detail-orientated, and driven
- Flexible availability is mandatory as there is no set schedule for trips
- Previous housekeeping experience is considered an asset

**Education and Certificates**:

- Highschool Diploma is required
- Serving It Right and Food Safe is considered an asset
- Marine experience is considered an asset
- Seafarer’s Medical certificate or any other Marine certificates considered an asset
