En tant que chef d’équipe de quai, vous veillerez à ce que les clients soient servis et à ce que les coûts de l'entreprise atteignent les objectifs fixés en planifiant le personnel de quai nécessaire, en appliquant des techniques de chargement et de déchargement appropriées, en planifiant les véhicules et en gérant les réclamations de cargo.

**Comment vous aiderez**
- Utiliser l'équipement conformément à la législation, aux politiques et aux procédures, en veillant à la sécurité et à l'efficacité afin de minimiser les risques de blessures, de dommages matériels ou de pertes de vies humaines.
- Charger et décharger la cargaison.
- Signaler rapidement tout incident ou accident au superviseur.
- Veiller à l'utilisation correcte de l'équipement de protection individuelle (EPI) et à l'utilisation sécuritaire des équipements.
- Signaler au superviseur les problèmes de performance et d'assiduité.
- Répondre aux questions et former les membres de l'équipe sur toutes les opérations effectuées dans la zone du quai ou sur le fonctionnement des équipements.
- Tenir à jour les registres et les documents nécessaires.
- Participer à la formation des travailleurs sur le fonctionnement des équipements et sur les politiques et procédures de sécurité de l'entreprise.
- Communiquer efficacement les problèmes aux superviseurs, à la direction et aux autres responsables/employés.
- Aider à chaque fois que cela est nécessaire et effectuer d'autres tâches qui peuvent lui être confiées.
- Assurer une direction et une orientation de base aux travailleurs de quai afin de garantir la sécurité et l'efficacité de la manutention des marchandises.
- Transmettre les informations du directeur des opérations aux travailleurs de quai et tenir le directeur des opérations informé des opérations du quai.

**Vos compétences et votre expérience**
- Doit avoir au minimum un diplôme d'études secondaires, avec préférence pour des études postsecondaires (volet général), ou une combinaison d'études et d'expérience.
- Certifié pour l’opération d’un chariot élévateur.
- Formé dans le transport des marchandises dangereuses.
- Certifié SIMDUT (Système d’information sur les matières dangereuses utilisées au travail).
- Une expérience préalable dans le domaine du transport ou de la gestion opérationnelle est préférable, des fonctions diverses dans le domaine du transport seraient bénéfiques.
- Compétences en communication - avancées.
- Compétences informatiques - précision, produits MS, AS400, programmes basés sur le Web.
- Compétences avérées en matière de relations avec les clients.
- Solides compétences en matière de résolution de conflits.
- Capable à respecter les délais dans un environnement hautement transactionnel.
- Capacité de défendre les besoins de l'entreprise de manière collaborative auprès de ses collègues.
- Axé sur les résultats.
- Anglais, autres langues sont un atout.
- Capacité de travailler avec peu de supervision.
