Hydrovac Operator

We are seeking a Hydrovac Operator responisble for daylighting pits and trenching around utilities for the utility maintenance and construction industry.

Responsibilies include:

- Ability to safelty drive and operate the truck and hydro-vacuum system.
- Successful completion of hydro excavation projects including daylighting pits, utility line exposure, debris removal and trenching.
- Inspect and maintain Hydro-Vac truck and equipment and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as the need arises.
- Ensure health and safety policies are follwed and adhere by CVOR guidlines.

Qualifications:

- Must have previous experience driving and operating a Hydro Vac
- Must have and maintain a valid AZ drivers license.
- Must have and maintain a clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to work independently
- Previous experience in telecommunications is an asset
- Safety certifications perferred (Working at Heights, First Aid/CPR, Traffic Control, etc.)
- Capable of working variable shifts with extended hours.

Union Wages and Benefits: This is a position that is covered under a collective bargaining agreement. The successful applicant will be required to joing the union as a condition of employment.

**Experience**:

- Hydro-Vac: 2 years (preferred)

- Class A Licence (required)
