We’re seeking a **Packaging Operator **to join our team. They will be responsible for performing on-line quality control checks, operating and sanitizing high speed fillers and labelers, continuous motion packers and unpackers and palletizing finished products. The role of a packaging operator is pivotal to ensuring that our products are prepared for distribution and reach consumers in optimal condition by safeguarding product integrity, supporting logístical operations, and contributing to the overall success of the production line.

**A typical day as a Packaging Operator includes**:

- Operate and monitor high speed packaging machinery in various stages of production
- Clean and fill kegs into required formats
- Tray making, re-packing, cleaning, etc., and other tasks as required
- Perform on-line QC checks on all packaged products
- Operate forklifts/walkies and load supplies into machinery
- Load/unload trucks as required, including returning stock, pallets, etc. to inventory
- Proactively assist co-workers to resolve production and troubleshooting issues
- Ensure daily packaging goals are met

**Requirements**:

- Working experience with a high speed packaging machine or food and beverage industry preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Work in a fast-faced, high-decibel environment
- Able to meet Packaging job requirements, including initiative, safety, housekeeping, attendance and productivity
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and overtime, as required by production demands
- Passion for all things Craft Beer and the craft beer industry is a must
- Must be at least 18 years old

**Work Environment**:

- Stairs and ladder climbing
- Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and maneuver 165lbs in tight spaces
- Ability to engage in routine physical activities and manual labor, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and bending, grasping, reaching using wrists, hands, shoulders and/or fingers.
- Comfortable working in hot, cold and noisy environments
