**Job description - Warehouse Associate / Kitting Specialist**

Due to our growth, Critical Path currently has an opportunity in our Mississauga location for a Warehouse Associate / Kitting Specialist. This position combines a dual role with the general duties of a Warehouse Associate (receiving / shipping, order verification) combined with an ability to pick/pack and assemble a “kit” of specific product as per customer requirements. Note that 75% of the role is related to picking and kitting and 25% of the role is general warehouse duties.

**Tasks and Duties**:
The Warehouse Associate / Kitting Specialist will carry out all duties with efficiency and safety being the priority. Tasks and duties include:
**General Warehouse Duties**
- Unloading inbound shipments, storing of product as required ensuring proper documentation.
- Picking, staging and loading of outbound shipments as required
- Receiving / scanning inbound and outbound freight, noting damages and noting any discrepancies or damages and escalating as required.
- Follow material-handling policies/procedures, and regulatory-compliance procedures
- Inspect material-handling equipment, racking and dock doors and plates, daily and weekly as required
- Review and maintain orders and activities in the WMS; create and enter date when required on inbound/outbound orders to reflect warehouse activities.
- Participate in training as required on use of equipment, health and safety, processes and customer service.

**Kitting Duties**
- Prepare and inspect paperwork relative to picking orders for kitting
- Select appropriate shipping (boxes / totes) containers and necessary packing materials (“peanuts”, dividers, foam, etc.) to complete the order
- Pick / kit order
- Secure shipping boxes / totes, affixing packing lists and labels.
- Communicate with and forward documentation to Customer Service, Billing or Appropriate Department
- Attention to detail is essential.

**Qualifications**

High School Diploma

Previous Kitting/ Assembly is an asset

Ability to physically lift/maneuver weights up to 50 pounds

Industry experience (2-5 years warehousing) is an asset

Ability to follow direction and work independently and safely in fast paced environment
