Mechanical Analyst IV

To safely and efficiently perform the duties of the Mechanical Analyst in an assigned area on an assigned shift.

What you’ll do:
- Successful completion of ISO Cat. III Vibration Analysis. Consideration will be given to ISO Cat. I or II Vibration Analysis certification.- A diploma from a recognized institute as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist or equivalent Engineering Technologist program, or a Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic with condition-based monitoring experience.- Level II certifications in Infrared Thermography, Airborne Ultrasound and Oil Analysis are an asset.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP and other data management software.

What you’ll need:
- Monitor and report on the condition and maintain databases of various equipment using vibration analysis, infrared thermography, and ultrasound technologies.- Use computer programs to assist in condition monitoring reporting, calculations and data management.- Assist in continuous improvement of operations with the development of condition-based monitoring practices.- Work independently and with mínimal guidance from maintenance staff- Review machine performance with operators and recommend appropriate maintenance actions.- Fluently read all drawings, prints, sketches and parts manuals.- Interpret and carry out written or oral instructions and to make written reports as required.- Adhere to all relevant legal environmental requirements.- Comply with all relevant OH&S requirements and in-house safety regulations.
