looking for an individual who is obsessed with driving sales, is passionate about

customer service, and loves merchandising and creating new opportunities. As an

Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations, staff

management, customer satisfaction, product presentation, inventory management, and

carrying out seasonal changes and promotional activities.

Reporting to: District Supervisor

As an Assistant Store Manager you will be responsible for the following:

- Drive sales/volume growth to consistently achieve optimum profitability within your store.
- Create a positive customer experience by delivering a high level of service while ensuring all staff members engage customers and exceed service expectations.
- Order and manage effective inventory levels, including merchandise handling.
- Oversee that all merchandise is properly displayed and priced and that allshelves are refilled regularly from backroom stock.
- Constantly develop and create new merchandising displays and promotionalactivities to keep the store fresh and drive sales.
- Develop and maintain a competent store team through hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisals, constructive discipline and problem resolution.
- Promote a strong, cohesive team and encourage staff suggestions and ideas.
- Maintain proper staff communications and encourage staff development andunderstanding of store operations.
- Ensure that all sales and reports are properly recorded and that a daily deposit is prepared and taken to the bank each business day.
- Maintain all required records and reports as required for accounting, auditing,and management purposes.
- Champion and uphold food safety and quality standards, and all company policies and procedures.
- Promote Rabba Fine Foods within the community by participating in local community events and support various local charities.

Educational /Technical Experience:

- 2-5 years’ experience in retail - preferably in grocery or convenience storesettings
- 2+ years in a manager/supervisor role considered an asset
- High school diploma or GED.
- Post secondary education is considered an asset
- Personal Requirements:

- Demonstrate drive and ambition to grow a business
- Excellent time management and prioritizing skills required
- Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff required
- Basic office administration skills required
- Able to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the business, including days, nights, weekends and holidays

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
