**Overview**
**Duties**
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan and prepare meals in accordance with established recipes and menu guidelines.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety and handling standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen procedures.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
- Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service.
**Experience**
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, food handling, and safety regulations.
- Experience in managing kitchen staff is preferred.
- Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
