Solar Installer

Start Date: ASAP
- Responsible for the installation of photovoltaic systems.
- Roofing and/or construction experience preferred.
- Responsible for the quality and efficiency of an installation.
- Maintain company owned tools and equipment.
- Uphold Brightworks Energy standards of professionalism
- timeliness, appropriate job site behavior, etc.
- Reports job status to Supervisor on a daily basis.
- Responsible for contribution to jobsite safety.
- Work well with construction crews, performing construction tasks.
- Troubleshoot a variety of technologies.

Remuneration:
$25-$30/hr based on experience

Qualifications:

- Ability to meet job deadlines and labour estimates.
- Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and execute construction
- Ability to mount electrical equipment and run cabling and wires
- Working At Heights Certification Required
- Ability to handle physical demands.
- Ability to absorb all levels of PV training available.
- Ability to communicate effectively to all members of the solar team and customers.
- Ability to work safely and effectively on steep roofs.
- Good knowledge of Ontario Electrical Code standards and practices.
- Knowledge of PV technology and installation.
- Valid G class driver’s license.
- Willingness to step outside of daily job expectations to contribute where needed to help entire Brightworks Energy team succeed.
- Extensive experience with installation tools and procedures.
- Strong interest in renewable energy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
