Job Description : Jérémy Boulanger-Bonnelly is hiring one (1) part-time research assistant for the summer. The research assistant will work on research projects related to access to justice, class actions, and Quebec civil law. The RA will provide assistance at all stages of these projects, including background research, project framing, literature review, and editing.

The projects may include:
Depending on the RA’s interest and the availability of funding, there may be an opportunity : (1) to increase the number of hours this summer (funding to be confirmed in early May); and (2) to extend the position into the 2024-2025 academic year (to be discussed).

L’auxiliaire de recherche travaillera sur divers projets reliés à l’accès à la justice, les actions collectives, et le droit civil québécois. L'étudiant-e fournira une assistance à toutes les étapes de ces projets, y compris la recherche préliminaire, le développement de l’argumentaire, la revue de littérature et la révision des articles.

Les projets pourront inclure les suivants:
En fonction de l'intérêt et de la disponibilité des fonds, il pourrait être possible de : (1) augmenter le nombre d’heures cet été (confirmation des fonds au début mai); (2) prolonger le poste pour l’année académique 2024-2025 (à discuter).

Qualifications Required _:_
- BCL/JD students from any year are encouraged to apply.
- The student must be able to research legislation, doctrine and case law in Quebec civil law and Canadian common law, both in French and in English.
- The student must be rigorous and meticulous.
- The student must have strong writing and editing skills in English.
- The student must be able to read and understand materials in both French and English.
- An interest in comparative research is an asset.

- L'étudiant-e doit être rigoureux, rigoureuse et méticuleux, méticuleuse.
- L'étudiant-e doit posséder de solides compétences en rédaction et en révision en anglais.
- L'étudiant-e doit être capable de lire et de comprendre des documents en français et en anglais.
- Un intérêt envers la recherche comparée est un atout.
