Groundworker

**Duties**:

- tree pruning
- tree removal
- tree planting
- tree health assessments
- tree disease diagnosis and treatment
- tree risk assessment, and providing advice on tree care and maintenance.
- Branch management
- hedge trimming

**Note: Previous experience in arboriculture or a tree service company is preferred but not required.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Pruning, trimming, and shaping trees to promote healthy growth and aesthetics
- Diagnosing and treating tree diseases to ensure their vitality
- Safely removing trees when necessary, using specialized equipment
- Planting and transplanting trees to enhance green spaces
- Conducting tree risk assessments to ensure safety

**Requirements**:

- Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Passion for preserving nature and creating a sustainable environment
- Teachable

**Skills**:To excel in this position, you should have the following skills:

- Ability to operate chainsaws and other power tools and equipment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in outdoor environments.
- Attention to detail for maintaining the appearance of trees and the landscapes there in.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High level of situational awareness

**Note: Previous experience in arboriculture or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.**

**Salary**: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
