**ABOUT OUR OPERATION**

The Support and Development Center provide services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and / or international mining operations in a variety of areas, including administration, financial services, IT, procurement and logistics, human resources, communications as well as technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, innovation and digital transformation).

**YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE**:
Under the supervision of the Mining Engineering Assistant-Superintendent, the Mining Technician will report to the Technical Services group. As a Mining Technician, you will actively participate in Agnico Eagle's strategic development by working on various technical studies or projects carried out at the CSD. You will have the opportunity to put your experience to good use by working on exploration projects, open pit and underground mines, located in various regions or countries. Concerned with the quality of your work, you may be called upon to provide technical support according to your experience and the needs of the various divisions of the company.

Specifically, you will:

- Assist the engineering group in conducting underground and/or open pit engineering studies by performing various tasks such as:

- Design of underground developments, stopes, underground infrastructures;
- Design of open pit;
- Layout and technical drawings;
- Participate in the development of certain projects (equipment selection, mining sequences, ventilation, innovation, ground control, cycle time and validation of equipment fleets, etc.)
- Participate in the writing of various technical studies such as NI 43-101, PEA, PFS, etc.
- Provide technical support to operations as needed such as:

- Short term planning mandates;
- Drilling and blasting optimization mandates;
- Stopes fragmentation analysis;
- Planning and optimization of ventilation networks.
- Participate in various innovation projects;
- Participate in various department meetings.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED**
- College degree (D.E.C.) in mineral technology, specializing in mining;
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in mining (open pit or underground);
- Good knowledge of the Deswik suite;
- A good knowledge of the Datamine suite would be an asset;
- Knowledge of simulation software such as HaulSim and VentSim would be an asset;
- Fluent in French, oral and written;
- Proficiency in the use of the English language as you will be working in collaboration with other Agnico Eagle sites where English is the primary language.
- Speaking Spanish is a major asset.

**Your Work Schedule**
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Possibility of 5-2-4-3 schedule;
- Workplace: The Mining Engineering Group is located at the CSD (Support and Development Centre), Preissac, 60 km from Val-d’Or and 50 km from Rouyn-Noranda. There is a possibility of working a few days from another AEM office, as well as teleworking.
