**Position Overview**:

- Assisting senior Agrologists in collecting physical data used in the valuation of residential and commercial properties and agricultural land.
- Utilizing aerial photography to verify changes in arable, non-arable and out-of-production acres, salinity and flooding, and land-use for the North Battleford Region.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide support and assistance to regional assessors in conducting field inspections including the collection and organization of physical data;
- Accurately distinguish arable, non-arable, and out-of-production acres for assigned municipalities;
- Update current acre inventories in the Agency's computer system as required; and
- Other duties related to assessment as assigned.

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of soil science
- Good communication and public relations skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft software such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work independently or with limited supervision
- Good problem-solving and time management skills

**Required Professional Designations/Certification**:

- Currently enrolled in the College of Agriculture & Bioresources at the University of Saskatchewan (or other recognized university) with courses continuing in Fall 2023.
- A valid class 5 driver’s license and a clean driver's abstract is required. Employment with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal record check.
