The Maintenance Technician is part of the operations team for one of JLL's key banking clients. This role works in downtown Toronto servicing office buildings and covering multiple locations both by vehicle and within walking distances. This successful incumbent must have the ability to : work in a professional, office property environment providing an exceptional customer service experience, perform inspections and repairs at assigned properties, and work closely with facility management team, with mínimal supervision. This role will be dedicated to the afternoon shift from 3pm-11pm, Monday to Friday.Primary Responsibilities:
Maintain high standard of customer service experience.
Assist the facility management team in the maintenance and repair of client space
Assist the MAC team with any required client move requests - relocation of move bins and furniture within a floor, building, or from one building to another.
Ability to drive in a busy downtown environment and navigate building loading docks to complete client relocations.
General interior maintenance - hang pictures, install keyboard trays, repair office furniture systems
Minor plumbing repairs and water filter changes.
Completes special tasks that include but are not limited to; painting, locksmith work, tenant services requests, and general maintenance as assigned.
Moves office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested
Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on as found conditions impacting satisfactory client occupancy and operations.
Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Documents work performance and materials procurement using mobile apps and other technology.
Other assigned operational tasks as may be typically expected of the Maintenance Mechanic role.

Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a professional office environment.
Knowledge of and ability to work with mobile technology including phone-based apps, Microsoft office, and other app-based reporting tools.
Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures, and basic knowledge of office building infrastructure.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. moving bins, and office furniture.
Excellent driving record with the ability to navigate busy downtown traffic.
Available to work afternoons from 3pm-11pm.
