**About the Opportunity**:
Located in Truro, the community Pediatrics clinic is looking for a full-time physician to cover a 12-month maternity leave starting February 27, 2023 (negotiable).

**Responsibilities**:
Duties include:

- Full scope of practice as a pediatrician providing care to patients within the Northern Zone and participating in call; joining a group of three Pediatrician colleagues in our outpatient practice who work collaboratively in an outpatient and on call setting.
- Physician will be responsible to the Zone Department Head of Women and Children's Services for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice, and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health

**Expected Hours**:

- 0.8 FTE, negotiable
- on call

**Qualifications**:

- Eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
