As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive bids for a diverse range of projects. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project completion within budget and on time.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop detailed cost estimates for various project types, including renovations, new builds, and expansions.
- Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and tender documents.
- Research materials, subcontractors, and equipment costs to ensure competitive pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers to define scope of work, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor and manage change orders and cost adjustments throughout the project.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure quality and value.
- Coordinate with other estimators to ensure smooth collaboration and efficiency.
- Present and review estimates with management as required or upon request.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, local regulations, and market pricing.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction estimating.
- Strong knowledge of general contracting and construction management practices.
- Experience with civil concrete work is an asset.
- Proficiency in estimating software.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with the Northern Ontario market is an advantage.
