We are seeking our next co-op estimator student to support our civil east group at our Montreal head office.

**What You’ll Do Here**:

- Being mentored by Senior and Chief Estimators in bidding projects including construction approach
- Pursuing various projects including a combination of private client proposals, design-build and bid-build projects ranging from mining processing plants, industrial plants, to water & wastewater treatment
- Working with the estimating team on proposal preparation including: Quantity takeoff and updating estimate software with quantities
- Database analysis
- Subcontractor/Vendor solicitation
- Subcontractor/Vendor Quote comparisons & analysis
- Entering quotes into estimate software
- Assisting with project execution
- Assisting in design build process and working with design teams
- Preparing portions of estimates utilizing Hard Dollar Estimating software
- Preparing portions of schedules utilizing Primavera P6 software
- Preparation of handover documents to site team for successful bids

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Currently enrolled in a university or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Bilingual French/English required
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Proven ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for normal functions and special assignments
- Attention to detail, mathematical, analytical skills and accuracy
- Ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external clients
- Service orientation and ability to work effectively with a team environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Database and P6 knowledge an asset
