Nelson Roofing & Sheet Metal Ltd is a professional roofing contractor operating on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast for over 40 years.

We are currently seeking SHINGLERS and MATERIAL HANDLERS for our Powell River branch.

All levels of experience are welcome. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. If you are motivated, looking for long-term employment with a well-established company and value quality work, we would like to hear from you Reliable transportation to our shop for 7am start is required.

**Duties**:

- Work with a roofing team to keep projects on time and budget.
- Install, repair, and replace shingle roofing systems in compliance with company, manufacturer, and industry’s standards.
- Operate various hand and power tools.
- Other tasks as assigned by site supervisor.

You will receive a comprehensive Safety Orientation, Fall Protection, and Safety Gear.

We offer competitive wages and provide training through RCABC.

Wages to be negotiated based on experience and or trade qualification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$34.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
