Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
Registration and Graduation:
- Responds to inquiries from students internal and external to the College Community, in compliance with the regulations of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).- Liaise with the Coordinator/ Chair to obtain special registration requirements and course loads for off-cycle students.- Processes various financial transactions ensuring accuracy for audit purposes. Responsible for the cyclical registration and graduation of students.- Advises students of the College's withdrawal policy and potential financial and immigration repercussions and suggests an alternate course of action.- Preparation of various documentation.- Administers and interprets Federal, Provincial government, and College policies and procedures.

Monitors and Records Student Progress:
- Creates, organizes and maintains accurate and timely official records.- Analyzes and conducts credential audits to ensure eligibility for promotion and graduation.- Certifies enrolment information for audit and Ministry reporting purposes.

Analyzes Systems and Procedures:
- Participates in debriefing after each registration and graduation cycle. Recommends procedural changes to effectively respond to constantly changing demands and situations of student and staff needs.- Provides ongoing input into the academic policy review process.

Provides Administrative Support and Client Service:
- Training and assisting new colleagues in order to provide ongoing instructional guidance and knowledgeable direction regarding the College's policies and procedures.-
- Taking part in recruitment, orientation, or other college information sessions

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum two (2) year post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field- Minimum three (3) years of progressive office experience in a service area or in a business office setting- Experience in a student service environment or Registrar's Office preferred- Experience using Salesforce and a Student Information System preferred.
