We are hiring a full time permanent
**Manager, Web and Mobile** position working out of Edmonton, AB.

This position may be eligible for EPCOR hybrid work program

What you’d be responsible for

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Cloud, Mobile, Web and Database Support, you will be accountable for (but not limited to):

- Providing input to the Senior Manager, Cloud, Mobile, Web and Database Support plans and directions.
- Providing leadership and oversight over EPCOR’s Mobile App program. Building strong relationships and deliver value to field-staff stakeholders across EPCOR.
- Ensuring Mobile Apps and Web Projects are planned and delivered with a focus on usability, customer experience, employee experience and value.
- Providing thought leadership in adoption, governance and operations of cloud and other emerging technologies applicable to the web and mobile areas.
- Providing input and expertise on architectural decisions for projects impacting web and mobile apps or EPCOR’s cloud positioning overall.
- Ensuring deliverables of direct report positions are aligned and integrated to include measurable performance metrics.
- Supporting, governing, and advocating for citizen IT tools such as SharePoint, Power BI and Power Platform.
- Creating and managing high performing teams. Building strong relationships with your team members, focusing on development, retention, and engagement.
- Ensuring the delivery of optimal operational results against appropriate performance metrics such as:

- Incident Delivery and Responsiveness
- Customer Satisfaction Surveys
- System Availability
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing web and mobile processes to ensure compliance with policies, standards, regulatory requirements, and the mitigation of risks.
- Ensuring specific and measurable scheduling and delivery of work across team members.
- Reacting to system availability issues with the required urgency and overseeing root cause analysis on issues as a way of proactively preventing them in the future.
- Ensuring the team resolves customer issues promptly to foster a positive relationship with all customers.

What’s required to be successful
- A Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Diploma in Computer Engineering/System Technology from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
- Demonstrated experience with:

- Modern work practices such as agile and devops
- Cloud computing with Azure, GCP, or AWS
- Source Control and CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, etc.
- Delivering technical IS solutions to business requirements
- EPCOR control framework as related to Work Requests, Tickets and Projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- Ability to provide mentorship and coaching to all levels of employees
- Demonstrated behaviour in responding to client needs while protecting company interests
- Ability to communicate directly with key stakeholders (internal/external) and contractors in a positive manner
- Ability to present and converse with all levels of management
- Ability to work independently with effective decision-making skills
- Demonstrated capability to analyze data, determine areas for improvement and implement resulting in effective operational changes
