If you are an experienced carpenter with a passion for finishing kitchens, drywall, painting, window installations, bathrooms, tile, and flooring, we invite you to join our team at Blue Planet Properties.

We are seeking an experienced carpenter who can work independently and deliver high-quality work within budget and on time. In addition to carpentry skills, you should have the ability to work as part of a team, mentor junior employees as required, estimate work accurately, coordinate one or two other team members to complete a job, and estimate jobs for clients. It is really important that you take ownership for your own work and work towards the success of the team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Read blueprints and be able to implement them
- Finish kitchens, drywall, painting, bathrooms, tile, and flooring
- Review subcontractor work and possibly find subcontractors
- Mentor junior employees
- Accurately estimate work and see it through to completion
- Estimate jobs and coordinate with a small team
- Knowledge/experience with siding and concrete a plus
- Project management experience a plus (or own company experience)

**Requirements**:

- Proven carpentry experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Tools and basic safety gear

**Salary**: $33.00-$36.00 per hour
