**Position Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
The following are the responsibilities and general duties of these positions but are not inclusive of all the detailed tasks that may be required:

- Be a key provider of quality electronic and instrumentation services as a member of a high performance team led by the Electronic and Instrumentation Technical Services Lead
- Collaborate with project teams by providing instrumentation and electronic systems design, fabrication, and testing
- Provide electrical/electronic systems and instrumentation services including calibration, programing, and operation, to projects involving the field and lab design and testing of vehicles, equipment and machinery
- Provide analysis and report writing services of the key measurements and findings on projects in a timely manner
- Integrate electrical and electronic systems into industrial vehicles and stationary equipment with technologies such as CAN Networks (hardware and software), PLC programs and associated design tools
- Maintain the calibration of instrumentation, and data acquisition and testing equipment to ensure those devices are available to projects as needed and that they meet PAMI QA requirements
- Provide design services and support manufacturing of vehicle electronic cable systems (wire harnesses)
- Troubleshoot electronic and instrumentation problems and implement solutions
- Support and maintain a safe, happy, and healthy work environment

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Experience in the agriculture, mining or transportation industries is considered an asset
- Experience with implementing and adjusting programmable logic controllers and control systems are requirements
- Have a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude and understanding
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel in the USA
- A team player with a reputation for safe and high-quality work and a demonstrated self
- starter

**Credentials and Experience**:

- Applicable diploma or certificate as a technician or technologist; or a university degree in a relevant field
- Registration in a corresponding professional association
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for data analysis and communications, as well as familiarity with software supporting electronic design, PLC’s, wiring harness design, data acquisition, instrumentation, etc.
