Markham Custom Woodworking is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to immediately fill a position of a Cabinet Maker - Bench person.

We are a small family run company with 5 employees and lots of work.

Prior Woodworking experience is required. We are willing to train someone but please NOTE: NO WOODWORKING/ CABINET MAKING EXPERIENCE = $17 / HOUR MAX

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Required - experience using an edgebander
- Experience using a stroke sander a plus
- Experience using an edge sander a plus
- Understanding of company products, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques
- Familiar with installation procedures installing millwork at a job site
- Follow quality and safety standards
- Additional tasks or projects as defined by the Production Foreman
- General help on the shop floor
- Ability to lift 50 pounds

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
