As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing targeted pest control solutions. Your role will involve a mix of residential and commercial pest control services. You will work independently or as part of a team to ensure the effective removal and prevention of pest infestations while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
- Develop customized pest control plans based on the type of infestation, property size, and client preferences.
- Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and provide recommendations for long-term pest management.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including inspection reports, treatment logs, and invoices.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery and meet client expectations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in pest control is a plus.
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
