**Job Description**:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Under limited supervision, perform as company technical service representative at TELEDYNE FLIR facilities or remote locations. Advise and assist customers and contractor personnel of TELEDYNE FLIR Surveillance recommended methods and techniques for installing and maintaining radar equipment. Conduct operator and maintainer training of radar systems for service technicians and operators/end-users as required. Assist in the development of processes and procedures to support the servicing and maintenance of electronic equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair radar equipment both at TELEDYNE FLIR facilities and at customer sites.

Conseille et assiste les clients selon les méthodes et techniques recommandées par TELEDYNE FLIR pour l'installation et l'entretien des équipements radar. Au besoin, dispense la formation pour les opérateurs et les responsables de l’entretien des systèmes radar. Contribue à l'élaboration de processus et de procédures pour l'entretien et la maintenance des équipements. Dépanne, diagnostique et répare les produits radar aux installations TELEDYNE FLIR et sur les sites clients.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

- Conduct repair, diagnosis, service, support and upgrades to all radar products.
- Repair select systems in a shop environment when travel schedule allows.
- Perform customer interface either in person or via telephone or electronic media regarding technical issues, repairs, or information.
- Prepare and perform training of customer personnel in the operation and maintenance of TELEDYNE FLIR Surveillance equipment.
- Conduct both on-site installation of equipment and isolation of equipment malfunctions.
- Represent the company in dealing with the customer (including equipment demonstrations) and takes responsibility for customer's satisfaction with equipment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of training programs for operators and/or customer maintenance personnel.
- Develop standard repair and maintenance procedures and document to company standards.
- Provide technical and administrative support in the management of field service inventory, to include establishing requirements for contents and quantities.
- Perform other job-related duties as required.

Responsabilités:

- Effectuer le service, le soutien technique, les réparations, diagnostics, ainsi que les mises à jour de tous les produits radar.
- Réparer les systèmes radar dans un environnement manufacturier lorsque que le calendrier des déplacements le permet.
- Offrir une interface client en personne, par téléphone ou par médias électroniques pour les problèmes techniques, réparations ou demandes d’information.
- Préparer et effectuer la formation du personnel client reliée à l'exploitation et la maintenance des équipements radar de TELEDYNE FLIR.
- Effectuer l'installation de l'équipement et l'isolement des dysfonctionnements de l'équipement chez les clients.
- Représenter l'entreprise face au client (y compris les démonstrations d'équipement) et assurer la satisfaction du client quant aux équipements radar.
- Participer à l'élaboration du programme de formation pour les opérateurs et/ou le personnel de maintenance des clients.
- Élaborer des procédures de réparation et d'entretien standard et documenter selon les normes de l'entreprise.
- Fournir un soutien technique et administratif dans la gestion de l'inventaire.
- Effectuer autres tâches liées au travail, au besoin.

Job Qualifications:

- A minimum of three years of experience in field service technical repair of electronic systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Working knowledge of IP networking.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
- Must be able to work independently as well as with different levels of management and staff, both internally and externally.
- Ability to travel on short notice both domestic and international.
