**Junior Cost Controller**

Duties include:

- Help compile the Design Team Monthly Report, this includes coordination with Design Team members and subconsultants to collect input, update, prepare for internal review, help consolidate and prepare for final issue through Document Control Team.
- Use SAP/IPAS PM to run, coordinate with Design Team following Detailed Design Phase/Construction Phase weekly reports:

- General Weekly Cost Report update for Hatch leads (sent on Monday morning).
- Issue draft time and material (T&M) cost report for various Detailed Design T&M support tasks, draft reports issued to Hatch leads typically on Monday/Tuesday.
- Consolidate inputs from Hatch team members (ie including correcting miscoded time/missing descriptions, etc) and supporting subconsultants, formalize and issue T&M cost report to client (typically on Thursday/Friday each week).
- Use SAP/IPAS PM to run, coordinate with Design Team following Construction Phase weekly reports:

- Consolidate inputs from Hatch team members (ie including correcting miscoded time/missing descriptions, etc), issue draft Construction Phase - time and material (T&M) cost report to the Commercial Manager, issued typically on Wednesday afternoon.
- Make pertinent updates and issue T&M cost report to client (typically on Friday each week).
- Coordination with Hatch’s project accountant, Design Team and subconsultants to help check and approve subconsultants invoices each month.
- Help prepare Change Control documentation for supporting subconsultants.
- As required, help maintain/update Change Order notification log, which are issued to the client on a regular basis (minimum bi-weekly).
- As requested by the Commercial Manager, attend some and or all of the following weekly meetings each week:

- Hatch internal weekly commercial meeting (7am-8am PST, tuesday).
- Hatch Seg 2 Construction Coordination meeting (10-11am PST, Wednesday)
- Wednesday weekly PM meeting with DBJV (8-930am PST, wednesday)
- Hatch Seg 1&3 Construction Coordination meeting (1130am-1230pm PST, Wednesday)
- Weekly DBJV-Hatch Commercial meeting (1130am to 1pm PST, thusrday)
- Friday Weekly Design Team coordination meeting (10am-1130am PST, friday)
- As required, help maintain cost coding system (ie include opening/closing) of activity cost codes for Design Team’s base scope, additional services, Construction Phase T&M services, etc.
- As required, help Commercial Manager with update/maintenance of various/miscellaneous project cost logs/records.
- Hatch Vehicle expense/maintenance log
- LAP’s presence in Vancouver log
- NCR Tracker
- DCN Tracker
- As required, help Commercial Manager with ad hoc coordination support pertaining to various Construction Phase tracked activities, such as (not limited to) Inspection and Testing Plans, RFIs, NCRs, Field Design Changes, etc
- As required, help Commercial Manager with relevant preparatory work for the monthly invoicing to the client.
- As required, help Commercial Manager with relevant preparatory work for the monthly PMR meeting, and monthly Executives meeting.
- Any other tasks at the discretion of the Commercial Manager, Design Manager, Deputy Design Manager, Project Director.
