Cheerleading Instructor

The Cheerleading Instructor is responsible for the delivery of the programs and services at the assigned BGC Niagara location(s). The position is accountable to the Aquatics, Recreation and Community Programs Supervisor/Manager.
- $20.00/hr. (part-time hourly)
- Part time 0-34 hours per week
- Completion of mandatory health and safety training and other employee training
- Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Screen that is obtained within the last 6 months for those aged 18 and older (Note: there is currently a 6-8 week delay in processing with the Niagara Regional Police). Receipt is acceptable to start.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development (can obtain after hire)
- Must provide immunization records
- Experience working directly with children and/or delivering children’s programming
- Experience in performance cheerleading mandatory
- NCCP Level 1 is an asset
Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide safe, effective and efficient delivery of BGC Niagara programs
- Assist with organizing, developing, documenting and implementing BGC Niagara programs
- Record attendance of participants
- Maintain accurate records with respect to program delivery
- Prepare and distribute participant evaluations
- Programs are delivered in a safe manner
