**Inventory and Purchasing Clerk (F/T)**

Assist in coordinating procurement activities and managing inventory. Maintain supply inventory levels required for effective company operation, oversee goods purchased and ensure inventory processes are implemented in SAP. Maintain incoming shipments and corresponding invoices. This is an entry to intermediate level position.
- Responsible for maximizing stocking/replenishment efficiency. Measure supply inventory and determine needs based on monthly, quarterly and annual numbers.
- Liaison for Factory Updates including monitor for on-time delivery, time in transit, and other data related to material from factories and provide reporting/feedback to interested parties.
- Follow-up with factory and vendors for all stock orders.
- Administer purchase orders and negotiate changes that may develop prior to completion. Follow purchase orders through to receiving, resolve shortages, rejected parts and any situations wherein supplier invoices or discount action is at variance with order conditions.
- Assist with container inventory receiving's and warehouse stock transfer of goods.
- Maintain database and assist with container progress.
- Analyze data and recommend solutions for issues related to lead-time and production scheduling.
- Implement, communicate, and monitor department metrics.
- Analyze inventory and shipments and adopt an effective course of action for discrepancies.
- Maintain appropriate purchase order, AP Invoice and shipping files.

What skills are required?
- A post-secondary degree or diploma from an Administrative or Procurement discipline is an asset and/or 1-3 years of experience in an Administrative or Procurement environment is preferred.
- Organizational, multi-tasking, attention to detail and communications skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products. The ability to create spreadsheets and formulas is necessary within MS Excel.
- Proficiency working with ERP systems, with SAP experience an asset.

You will report to the Process, Inventory and Reporting Manager.
