**TAQQUT PRODUCTIONS INC.** is an Inuit-owned film production company located in Iqaluit, Nunavut and Toronto, Ontario. Our films have screened at festivals in eighteen countries and have won over twenty international awards. With its film and television projects, Taqqut has established itself as an innovative leader in Northern youth and children’s productions and aims to preserve the rich storytelling culture of Inuit and the North.

We are seeking a highly organized and self-directed **Studio Coordinator**. This position reports to the line producer and the studio owners. You will be responsible for assisting the day-to-day management of the production activities.

**This position is an in-office role that offers a 35-hour work week. **We offer a mix of Nunavut and Ontario paid holidays and a work environment that is fun and vibrant, with great development opportunities.

**Responsibilities**
- Communicate workflow statuses and concerns to Team Managers and Studio Manager.
- Efficiently support an executive responsible for negotiating deals for writing, directing, acting, and producing clients.
- Editing, proofreading, summarizing and redlining agreements and correspondence under the supervision of the executive.
- Serve as a point of contact with clients, Agents, and Executives.
- Help with Key Productions and support the Line Producer.
- Assist with the management of Taqqut Productions' staff.
- Assist with the hiring, scheduling of staff, coordinating tasks and roles with other senior staff.
- Supervise development and production for various properties.
- Assist with the production schedule and ensure that milestones are met.
- Help coordinate production work, including assignment tasks and suggesting workflow.
- Organizing, maintaining and archiving the department filing system.
- All needed administrative work.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in media production, or relevant experience, preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of and experience in organisation, business, and the technical requirements of productions in a studio.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a demanding environment.
- Proficient in Excel is required.

- Mount Pleasant, ON N0E 1K0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Administrative experience: 2 years (preferred)
