In this role, you will join our team in Markham, ON office.
- Report writing
- Monitoring Site Grading Activities
- Soil Identification and Examination of Subgrade Soils
- Insitu Density and Compaction Testing
- Concrete, Mortar and Grout Sampling and Testing
- Asphalt Sampling and Testing
- Asphalt and Concrete Core Sampling
- Liaising with clients and contractors, building strong relationships
- Carrying out Marshall and Superpave tests within our Asphalt Laboratory;
- Ensuring laboratory equipment is maintained in good condition;
- Interacting with Materials and Geotechnical Engineers routinely;
- Operating computerized and digital testing equipment.

**What your experience looks like
- Graduate in a related field of study, such as Civil Engineering;
- Minimum 2- 3 years’ experience in Asphalt testing Laboratory;
- Possess a current CCIL Certification for HMA Marshall and Superpave an asset;
- Possess a current CCIL Certification for Aggregates an asset;
- Possess a current CCIL Certification for Concrete Testing an asset;
- Field experience in concrete, earthworks and asphalt;
- Experience with Marshall and Superpave Mix Designs;
- Strong focus on Health and Safety;
- Strong communication skills and leadership capabilities;
- Ability to work overtime in peak periods;
- Excellent organizational skills and time management a must;
- Proficiency with the windows operating system, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel;
- Able to organize, prioritize, set and adjust priorities and schedules independently:

- Posses a valid driver's license and own vehicle;
