We are recruiting for a Quality Surveyor for our facility in **Peterborough, Ontario.**

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Audit and qualify potential suppliers.
- Perform supplier surveillance including witness hold points.
- Determine receiving inspection requirements.
- Interpret drawings, technical documents, procedures, ASME & CSA N285.0, etc.
- Review and accept procedures, records, inspection and test plans, and test results for conformance to quality plan and ASME section III.
- Interface with TSSA for material release, non-conformance reviews, etc.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS:

- Strong technical background.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, understandable by a diverse audience.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Experience with CANDU technology would be an asset.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- College diploma or university degree in engineering or science.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in engineering design and/or quality.
- Basic knowledge of non-destructive examination reports (RT, UT LP, MP, etc.), dimensional inspection techniques and weld inspection.
- Inspection and testing QA planning or equivalent Product/Process/Equipment qualification experience.
- Experience interpreting drawings and technical documents.
- Lead Auditor experience.
