**Positions**:
**1. Dietary Aide/Servers**:
Full-time, Part-time or Casual

**2. Dishwashers**:
Casual / On-call

**Hours of work / schedule**
- **Servers: 3:30pm-7:30pm / 10:30am-7:00pm**
- **Dishwasher: 11:00am-7:00pm**

**Job location**: Downtown Squamish, B.C.

**Facility type**: Seniors Independent / Assisted Living Retirement Residence

**Job Summary**:
The Dietary Aide/Server performs day to day food services activities related to the preparation and delivery of meals to residents in the retirement residence. This includes less complex food preparation as required and meal/nourishment service set-up and delivery.
- Assists residents as needed.
- Day to day food services activities related to the ware-washing of supplies and cleaning of the kitchen and all other dining areas.
- Keeps work areas clean, neat, and tidy.
- Assists in receiving, distributing, and storing of supply deliveries.
- Supports equipment control system and reports all maintenance issues of equipment to the Food Service Manager/Cook.
- Attends meetings and in-services as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- WHMIS 2015 Provincial Course
- Food Safe Level 1
- Ability to communicate in English effectively, verbally and in writing;
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions, learn procedures, and follow routine processes;
- Ability to work on a team collaboratively and communicate with others in a respectful manner;
- Ability to operate related kitchen equipment;
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.

**This vacancy is located at a registered assisted living facility and will be pursuant to this order.**

**Experience**:

- food service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
