**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, bulldozers, loaders, rock trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately.
- Utilize power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery components.
- Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional communication within the company.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.

**Qualifications**
- Strong mechanical interest and already on the apprentice path.
- Positive attitude and desire to give to the team.
- Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- The discernment to stop and assess a project and ask questions to ensure correct path.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals effectively.
- Flexibility to take turns with other mechanics being on call after hours.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to safety practices in the workplace.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$38.50 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week
