**Instructor, Nursing (Term Full-Time)**

**POSITION TYPE**: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated August 12, 2024 up to November 22, 2024)

**SALARY**: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*

**POSITION LOCATION**: Portage la Prairie Campus (90km outside of Winnipeg, MB)



**DUTIES**
Reporting to the Chair, the Instructor is required to facilitate the streaming of Theory, Lab and clinical practice to students in the Bachelor of Nursing Program, conduct student assessments and counseling, utilize the course LEARN website, effectively manage clinical practice student groups, and perform related administrative responsibilities as required.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Bachelor Of Nursing; Diploma in Nursing combined with relevant work experience
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Manitoba or eligible for registration as an RN in Manitoba
- Recent and relevant clinical experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to teach on campus and remotely
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as in small group settings
- Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

**ASSET QUALIFICATIONS**
- Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level
- Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Criminal Records Check, including a Vulnerable Persons Sector Check
- Incumbent must provide a current and satisfactory Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check
- This position may be required to travel
- Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
- Incumbent must hold a valid College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Certificate
- This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
