As part of our team, the successful applicant will assist in environmental work and deliverables throughout a project life cycle (environmental assessment, permitting, construction and post-construction support), including:

- Working with and supporting the team of technical environmental specialists in executing provincial, and Federal environmental assessments/impact assessments (planning, preliminary design, detail design, alternative delivery projects) as well as other approval and permitting activities for infrastructure/development projects.
- Support in the identification and assessment of environmental features, constraints, project components and alternatives, potential environmental effects, mitigation measures and monitoring.
- Assist the project teams in the preparation of technical documents to support regulatory approvals.
- Researching, conceptualizing, planning, and writing drafts of reports related to planning, design and permitting.
- Assist the project team in the planning, coordination of logistics of project activities, including field work and public consultation workshops.
- Collaborating with technical and professional staff across the company in completing assignments.
- Coordinating, preparing for, attending, and documenting project meetings.
- Some overnight travel may be required to service project needs of the client.

**Qualifications** Minimum Requirements**:

- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related areas (e.g. Natural Resource Management, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Studies)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical, planning, organization, problem solving and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills as this role requires continuous interaction with team leaders.
- Ability to express ideas logically, clearly and concisely; function effectively as part of a team; maintain discretion and confidentiality and work in both field and office environments.
- Class 5 driver’s license.

**Additional Information**
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $55,000 - $80,000.
