**Position Summary**:
The City of Fort Saskatchewan is currently recruiting for the position of Childminding Attendant. Reporting to the Recreation Programs Coordinator, the Childminding Attendant is responsible for monitoring children and meeting their needs as required, as well as providing exceptional quality customer service and confidentiality while working in Auggie's Place Childminding Centre and Connect Hearing Play Station. The Childminding Attendant promotes the City’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and Truth and Reconciliation within the department, organization, and community.

**Responsibilities**:

- Include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensure a high level of customer service.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Create a safe, caring and nurturing environment.
- Ensure customers are following guidelines.
- Perform inspections of program equipment to find operational malfunctions of potentially dangerous situations (preventative maintenance).
- Be aware of child/parent dynamics.
- Prepare reports such as incident/accident, statistical and inventory as required.

**Qualifications**:
This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E. Local 30, and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement.

A Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon hire.

Hours of Work: Monday - Sunday; Varying day, evening, and weekend shifts.
The number of hours of work cannot be forecasted.
