**St. John Council for Ontario (SJCO) is a voluntary agency dedicated to improving the health, safety and quality of life of Canadians through training and community service. We are currently seeking a confident, energetic Customer Service Representative to join our Halton Region Branch located in Oakville.**
- **ESSENTIAL DUTIES**_
- **Provide a high level of customer service by answering and returning phone calls, registering walk in clients on courses, responding to e‐mail and online requests for information on training products and volunteer inquiries**:

- **Up‐sell, and process registrations**:

- **Prepare paperwork for classes, print certificates and close classes once paperwork is submitted**:

- **Reconcile payment information appropriately and maintain accurate records in Microsoft D365 database.**:

- **Process payments or invoices**:

- **Interact with supervisors, managers, instructors, volunteers, and clients**:

- **Closing POS machine weekly and process dailies and submit to the bookkeeper**:

- **Inventory Control: training materials and product for resale**:

- **Prepare renewal notices and provide to clients**:

- **Provide administrative support to volunteers**:

- **Liaise with organizations and instructors in the coordination of training courses**:

- **Work towards becoming a first aid instructor**:

- **Assist with various duties as assigned by the Executive Director & Training Coordinator**
- **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**_
- **Minimum of one-year successful experience in office administration**:

- **Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including D365 software**:

- **Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously**:

- **Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both written and oral**:

- **Ability to work independently and in a team environment**

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$43,000.00 per year
