**Summary**:
To provide on-site coordination for all phases of the Construction Project, including, but not limited to, subcontractors, materials and equipment, ensuring that specifications are strictly followed, and work is proceeding with quality while on schedule and within budget. A Superintendent shall be responsible for the scheduling of all inspections and site safety. In the performance of this function, it is the Project Superintendents responsibility to protect and promote Holaco Construction’s interests in all matters. The accountability of this is the sole responsibility of the Project Superintendent.

**Principle Duties**:

- Schedule Subcontractors, Consultants, and Vendors in critical path items to ensure timely completion.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed.
- Communicate with the Project Team regarding RFI’s and Shop Drawing Submittals
- Ensure that Subcontractors are fully executing and complying with their contracted scope of work.
- Coordinate required inspections with Local Jurisdictions, as well as, with the Design Consultants
- Identify Subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.
- Identify design conflicts and communicate them to the Project Team for resolution.
- Manages day to day client interactions and expectations, directly or in a supervisory role
- Proactively identifies changes in project scope and ensures appropriate measures are taken
- Manages changes in scope
- Maintain a daily log of activities on the jobsite.
- Perform Superintendent duties at multiple job sites, simultaneously.
- Afterhours work may be required dependent on project and project restrictions.
- Ensure subcontractors have corrected all deficiencies identified by the Project Team.
- Ensure that the job site is always kept clean and in an organized manner.
- Generate progress and completion Punch Lists identifying deficiencies and their completion.

**Knowledge, Skills and abilities**:

- Provide direction to and resolve on-site issues
- Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
- Provide effective communication
- Strong computer skills, emphasis on Microsoft Office & Microsoft Project
- Blueprint reading
- Basic estimating skills
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities with multiple groups to achieve maximum efficiency

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:

- On-site Project Team - Subcontractors, Assistant Superintendent, Holaco Foreman, Holaco Labour
- Site Safety - working with Construction Safety Officer/Manager

**Reports to**:

- Project Executive - Project Manager, Holaco Executive

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 5 years (required)
- Construction Superintendents: 3 years (required)
