Our Kingsville Head Office Location is currently seeking a Brand Manager on a 1 year Maternity leave contract to join our Marketing team. The essential function of this position is responsible for the overall management of the SUNSET® brand, including strategic development and execution of the marketing plan, budget management, and advertising tactics to deliver short term and long term financial targets that support corporate objectives.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute business/brand plans identifying business objectives, strategies, key initiatives and performance measurements
- Manage social media platforms, working with agency partner to develop marketing campaigns and relevant content to reach our target audiences and drive business results
- Identify consumer insights needs to inform business decisions, and work with third parties to conduct consumer research
- Working with cross-functional teams, Act as the tactical lead for all major brand initiatives including new product launches, product/packaging re-stages, consumer promotions, etc.
- Work with Sales and customer teams to develop and execute effective customized Shopper Marketing campaigns
- Develop and communicate written briefs for use by internal/external agencies or suppliers (e.g., creative, advertising, packaging, product development, media, consumer promotions, merchandising, etc.) to direct their work activities in order to generate concepts for effective execution of marketing programs and objectives

**Position Requirements**:

- An undergraduate university degree in business is required. An MBA would be an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of consumer focused marketing experience
- High level of creativity with the ability to identify and execute innovative ideas
- Demonstrated significant marketing success driving positioning, consumer insights and innovative marketing programming including digital, social media, in-store marketing development
- Strong project management skills with the ability to navigate and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment
- Self-starter with strong influencing and relationship management skills

**Working Conditions**:

- Normal office environment
- Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis
- Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills
