Quality Controller

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Controller to join our team. As a Quality Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is a vital role in our organization as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and brand reputation.

**Duties**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Perform visual inspections, measurements, and tests to identify defects or deviations from specifications
- Document and report any non-conformities or quality issues to the appropriate departments for corrective action
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and prevent quality issues from recurring
- Develop and maintain quality control procedures and work instructions
- Concrete testing and data logging
- Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Participate in external audits and assist with resolving any findings

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Quality Controller or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment
- ACI certificate for concrete testing or willing to get the training
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, practices, and techniques
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero for account analysis purposes
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

Pay: $16.55-$34.86 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QC: 1 year (preferred)
