**Job description**

The iGUIDE QA Technician will be responsible for a strong quality assurance control of the prepared floor plans using Planitar’s proprietary drafting software “Draft” and ensure that each floor plan complies with Planitar’s iGUIDE Drafting Standards & Policies. QA Technicians will also be responsible for updating and modifying existing iGUIDE floor plans through customer requests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check and verify finished floor plans conform to The iGUIDE Drafting Standards & Policies.
- Responsible for assisting with any floor plan updates, pano updates or update requests as instructed by the Draft Production Supervisor.
- Address and report issues that may surface during production to the Draft Production Supervisor.
- Participate in cross-functional, continuous improvement teams as the opportunity presents itself.

**Additional Tasks**:

- Fulfill overtime requests by an iGUIDE Drafting Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager as required.
- Complete other tasks other than drafting floor plans such as AI annotations, marketing research, information gathering, cases studies, etc.

**Training**:

- Training will be provided through Planitar Inc.’s learning management system, iGUIDE Academy. Here you will learn about and how to use Planitar Inc.’s proprietary drafting software “Draft” to develop and prepare floor plans.
- Quality Assurance Training will be provided in addition to Draft Training.
- Successful applicants are required to pass these training courses with the minimum passing grade stated on the corresponding course outline.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Hands-on experience with computer-aided design such as AutoCAD or Revit.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling tools & software.
- 1+ years of experience working for a city or municipality's building department reviewing permit construction drawings.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical prints, procedures, and specifications.
- Excellent mathematical skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Excel.
- Manual dexterity required to use a desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking and time management techniques.
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance terminology, practices, and tools.
- Keen attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Understanding of industry requirements and legal standards.
- Passion for the product and a commitment to making it as strong as possible.
- Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to produce high quality work as set forth by the company standards.
- Effective interpersonal skills through the management of professional teams and daily interactions with all levels of personnel, senior management and outside stakeholders.

**Experience**:
