This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating and maintaining rail equipment and loading/off-loading rail cars containing Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in accordance with federal, provincial and Company guidelines.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS**
- Work closely with Operations, Transportation, Logistics and Marketing groups to develop daily plans and goals to achieve the scheduled load/unload objectives.
- Verify tank car or truck load numbers to ensure railcar placement accuracy based on written or verbal instructions.
- Conduct tasks in accordance with facility Standard Operating Procedures to complete the loading/unloading of railcars and transport trailers.
- Accurately complete all forms, records, and documentation related to rail/transport trailer activities.
- Operate pumps, compressors, valves, and other loading or unloading equipment as needed.
- Monitor product movement to and from storage tanks, including coordinating activities with other departments to ensure consistent and safe product flow.
- Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times either manually and/or with computers.
- Monitor all equipment within the facility for mechanical integrity - perform basic maintenance such as pump lubrication, gasket replacement, and similar activities as needed.
- Attend and comply with all required training at the facility or electronically.
- The day to day safe and efficient operation of the facility while maintaining compliance with all federal, provincial, and corporate standards.
- Assist in training and support of staff development.
- Coordinate and or assist with driver training.
- Participate in site specific and corporate safety meetings, incident investigations.
- Responsible for daily and monthly reports.
- Perform and oversee house cleaning duties to include but not limited to vegetation spraying, waste removal and general organization of the Terminal yard and office(s).
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- 1 year of rail offloading experience preferred.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute many tasks at once.
- Self-motivated with an ability to work well with others.
- Must be able to meet federal, provincial & corporate certification requirements.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Subject to 24-hour call out including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Available to work days-off or overtime when needed.
- Must be detail oriented, self-starter and able to work with little supervision while maintaining goals/tasks.
- Should have good PC skills to include all MS Office products.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with operations staff, management, contractors, and internal support groups.

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT**
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand or walk and use hands and arms to manipulate, grasp or reach.
- The employee frequently is required to walk, stoop, kneel, carry, push/pull, and use repetitive wrist and hand movements.
- Must have good hearing, vision, and physical and mental coordination.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, kneel, stoop, sit and walk extensively.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, such as flame-retardant clothing, eye protection, ear protection, steel-toed boots, hard hat, etc.

**Salary**: $54,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
