**Commissionaires BC is currently looking for a security guard to work overnights at a office site in Burnaby.**

**Total hours per work week**:34

**Position hours**: Mondays: Midnight - 8am plus Tuesdays to Fridays 1.30am to 8am

**Wage**: $20/hr

**Your Must-Haves**:

- A valid BC Security License
- A valid OFA 1
- Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills

**Some of your responsibilities include**:

- Provide superior customer service to our client and site users
- Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including mechanical rooms and labs
- Equipment alarm response and monitoring
- Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards
- CCTV monitoring
- Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary
- Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public
- Act as a line of emergency response and provide first aid to all site users in a prompt, easily accessible and appropriate manner
- Report all incidences to the Site Supervisor and provide investigation report.

**Your Nice to Haves**:

- You have resided in Canada for the last five years (for clearance purposes)
- Hold OFA 2
- Class 5 drivers license
