The Hairdressing Instructor is responsible for delivering theory and practical lessons to students using industry-approved curriculum and standards. He/She will:

- Provide training in Hair Theory, Hair Design, Hair Cutting, and other related modules
- Instruct students in the use of special equipment they need to complete the program
- Attend weekly and monthly staff meetings
- Teach the course components as outlined in the timeline in the designated time frame
- Prior to class, Instructors are to be prepared with all tests, assignments, and photocopy materials necessary
- Instructors are responsible for correcting of all tests, assignments, and projects for courses
- Effectively communicate the content of the course to all students in the program
- Maintain attendance records
- Follow comprehensive attendance policy as outlined by CBBC policy handbook
- All instructors should project a professional image

CBBC Career College is registered with the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education-Private Career Colleges Division.

**Qualifications**:

- Master Cosmetologist Certificate from Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia and be eligible for Instructor Certificate from CANS
- 5 years' related work experience to course content being taught
- **Redken** experience is considered an asset

A Criminal Record and Social Media check will be conducted.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
