WESK’s main goal is to help women entrepreneurs start, grow, and scale their business in Saskatchewan. We are the definitive resource for women entrepreneurs in the province. At WESK, we offer: unique programs for entrepreneurs at various business stages/industries; engaging events for all entrepreneurs & business professionals; and learning for all business stages/industries.

We are a small but mighty team with the goal of positively impacting women entrepreneurs across Saskatchewan. The not-for-profit team environment means everyone is ready and able to support each other depending on the organization’s needs.

We are looking to hire a term Brand Manager who has wide range of experience, enjoys being an integral part of a dynamic team, and is eager to empower women entrepreneurs to achieve their goals

**About the position**:
Reporting to the CEO, the Brand Manager is responsible for ensuring a strong brand presence and oversight of the organizational support functions at WESK. As part of the senior leadership team, the Brand Manager leads the organization’s marketing, communications, and support functions.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Strategize, develop, and execute effective marketing and communications strategies and campaigns
- Develop initiatives and strategies to engage in sponsorship recruitment and retainment
- Develop and track KPIs to determine the performance of marketing and communications
- Oversee the development of WESK marketing collateral
- Oversee the successful execution of WESK events
- Develop and execute WESK’s digital strategy
- Prepare and monitor marketing and events budgets
- Lead the marketing and communications functions of the organizations, including team members and suppliers
- Provide leadership, support and guidance that ensures the success of the brand and creative functions within the business
- Develop, share, and manage a seasonal brand content calendar that facilitates a coordinated execution through all marketing touch points
- Monitor, track, and actively manage the overall departmental budget and financial forecasts, including monthly reconciliation
- Build strategic relationships with key community organizations
- Work collaboratively to oversee the execution and review of the support functions strategies (Marketing, HR, Finance, and Administration)
- Ensure adequate corporate administrative support is provided across the organization
- Working with other managers, improving processes and policies in support of organizational goals
- Maintain effective and regular team communication

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in marketing and post-secondary education in business or marketing
- Successful marketing campaign design and execution
- Deep comprehension of the digital landscape for brand management
- Event management experience
- Experience working with brand touchpoints (Marketing, HR, Finance, and Administration)
- Cross-functional experience in a collaborative work environment
- Experience leading a successful team
- Budget management experience
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders to maintain or build relationships
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive and willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
